Go team r-i-petorn, here’s the interview Julian did with Joe Goddard of Hot Chip in 2007. Note how Julian manages to combine stripes, plaid and tweed into one … inimitable combo.
The headers manage to make it all about Noel; it starts of with what a sad case Julian is, goes on to “vindicate” him as the hard worker behind the eccentric junkie bandmate; this is the NME. But it’s got nice revealing in-character bits in it as the two guys (who only know each others work) chat aboutNoel(making) music and (writing) lyrics,NoelKylie and R. Kelly.
